(H 1)……SECOND   NAZERETH   REJECTION

Matthew13:54 And when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, "Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

Matthew 13:55 "Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

Matthew 13:56 "And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?"

Matthew 13:57 So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house."

Matthew 13:58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Mark 6:5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.

Mark 6:6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

Mark 6:7 And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.

Luke 9:1 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

Luke 9:2 He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Luke 9:3 And He said to them, "Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.

Luke 9:4 "Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart.

Luke 9:5 "And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them."

Luke 9:6 So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

(H 2)…….JOHN   THE   BAPTIST   IS   BEHEADED

Matthew 14:10 So he sent and had John beheaded in prison.

Matthew 14:13 When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities.

Matthew 14:14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

Matthew 14:15 When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, "This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food."

Matthew 14:16 But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat."

Matthew 14:17 And they said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish."

(H 3)……OVER   FIVE   THOUSAND   FED

Luke 9:14 For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, "Make them sit down in groups of fifty."

Luke 9:15 And they did so, and made them all sit down.

Luke 9:16 Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Luke 9:17 So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.

(H 4)……JESUS  AVOIDS  BEING  MADE  KING

John 6:1 After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.

John 6:2  Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.

John 6:3 And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples.

John 6:4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.

John 6:9 "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?"

John 6:10 Then Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

John 6:11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.

John 6:14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world."

John 6:15 Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone.

(H 5)…….WALKING   ON   THE   WATER

John 6:16 Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,

John 6:17 got into the boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

John 6:18 Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing.

John 6:19 So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they  saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid.

John 6:20  But He said to them, "It is I; do not be afraid."

Matthew 14:27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."

Matthew 14:28 And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."

Matthew 14:29 So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

Matthew 14:30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"

Matthew 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"

Matthew 14:32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

(H 6)…..CROWD   LOOKS   FOR   JESUS

John 6:21 Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.

John 6:22 On the following day, when the people who were standing on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one which His disciples had entered, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with His disciples, but His disciples had gone away alone;

John 6:23 however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks;

John 6:24 when the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they also got into boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.

John 6:25 And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, "Rabbi, when did You come here?"

John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me,

not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

(H 7)……..JESUS   THE   BREAD   OF   LIFE

John 6:35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

John 6:40 "And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

John 6:47Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

John 6:48 "I am the bread of life.

John 6:49Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

John 6:50This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.

John 6:51I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

John 6:53 Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.

John 6:54 "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:55 "For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.

John 6:56 "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

John 6:59 “These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

John 6:66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
