Past Laborers in Christ

In the Book of First Corinthians Chapter 15:1-10 the Apostle Paul describes a condensed Summary of the Gospel and those that labored in Christ in addition to him; since the beginning of the ministry of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

1Corinthians 15:1  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

 1Corinthians 15:2  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

 1Corinthians 15:3  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

 1Corinthians 15:4  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

 1Corinthians 15:5  And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

 1Corinthians 15:6  After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

 1Corinthians 15:7  After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

 1Corinthians 15:8  And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

 1Corinthians 15:9  For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

 1Corinthians 15:10  But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

 Now Concerning Spiritual Gifts

 So it is apparent that we labor in accordance through the Grace of Spirit; that God the Father gives to each of us, as we all have diversities of gifts, differences of administrations and diversities of operations but it is the same God that woks in all of us. Spiritual Gifts are given in accordance with the will of God.

In Accordance to Spiritual Gifts

1Corinthians 12:1  Now concerning spiritual gifts,brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

 1Corinthians 12:2  Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

 1Corinthians 12:3  Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God called Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

 1Corinthians 12:4  Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

 1Corinthians 12:5  And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

 1Corinthians 12:6  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which works all in all.

 1Corinthians 12:7  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

 1Corinthians 12:8  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

 1Corinthians 12:9  To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

 1Corinthians 12:10  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

 1Corinthians 12:11  But all these works that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

 1Corinthians 12:12  For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

 1Corinthians 12:13  For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

 1Corinthians 12:14  For the body is not one member, but many.

 Therefore, Pray for Laborers

Matthew 9:37  Then said he (Jesus) unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few;

 Matthew 9:38  Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest; that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.

As we must always pray that more laborers will be added to the work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Messiah; we wish to also give thanks for the laborers listed below that have already made loving contributions and given generously of their time and energy, in a multitude of ways, to make The Providence of God Outreach Network project a reality.

 We thank God for each of  you and pray that many other laborers will follow in your loving footsteps. Amen

 Jesus Is the Foundation

1Co 3:8  Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

 1Co 3:9  For we are laborers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

 1Co 3:10  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds there on. But let every man take heed how he builds there upon.

 1Co 3:11  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

 Fellow Laborers Know in Your Heart

1Co 3:23  And you are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
