(K 1)…..HIS   LAST  FEAST  OF   TABERNACLES

John 7:2 Now the Jews' Feast of Tabernacles was at hand.

John 7:3 His brothers therefore said to Him, "Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing.

John 7:8 "You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come."

John 7:9 When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee.

John 7:10 But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

John 7:11 Then the Jews sought Him at the feast, and said, "Where is He?"

John 7:14 Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught.

John 7:15 And the Jews marveled, saying, "How does this Man know letters, having never studied?"

John 7:19 "Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?"

John 7:24 "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."

John 7:25 Now some of them from Jerusalem said, "Is this not He whom they seek to kill?

John 7:26 “But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ?

John 7:30 Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

John 7:31 And many of the people believed in Him, and said, "When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?"

John 7:32 The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him.

John 7:33 Then Jesus said to them, "I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.

Rivers of Living Waters

John 7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

John 7:38 "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

John 7:39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Division Among the People

John 7:40 Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, "Truly this is the Prophet."

John 7:41 Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "Will the Christ come out of Galilee?

John 7:42 "Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?"

John 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of Him.

John 7:44 Now some of them wanted to take Him, but no one laid hands on Him.

Unbelieving Rulers

John 7:45 Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, "Why have you not brought Him?"

John 7:46 The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this Man!"

(K-2)…..SEVENTY   SENT   AHEAD   OF   JESUS

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.

Luke 10:2 Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

Luke 10:3 "Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.

Luke 10:7 "And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.

(K 3)…….THE   SEVENTY  RETURN  REJOICING

Luke 10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."

Luke 10:20 "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.

Luke 10:22 "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."

Luke 10:23 Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see;

Luke 10:24 "for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it."

(K 4)…… WINTER   IN   JERUSALEM

Jesus Is the Good Shepherd

John 10:16 "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

John 10:17 "Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

John 10:18 "No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father."

The Believer’s Assurance

John 10:22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter.

John 10:23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon's porch.

John 10:24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, "How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly."

John 10:25 Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me.

John 10:26 "But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.

John 10:27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

John 10:28 "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

John 10:39 Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.

(K 5)………..SEND   LAZARUS   BACK   FROM   THE   DEAD

Luke 16:25 "But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

Luke 16:27 "Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house,

Luke 16:28 'for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.'

Luke 16:29 "Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.'

Luke 16:30 "And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.'

Luke 16:31 "But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.'"

(K 6)…...JESUS  RAISES  LAZARUS   FROM    THE    DEAD

John 10:40 And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed.

John 10:41 Then many came to Him and said, "John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true."

John 10:42 And many believed in Him there.

John 11:1 Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

John 11:6 So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.

John 11:11 These things He said, and after that He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up."

John 11:14 Then Jesus said to them plainly, "Lazarus is dead.

John 11:17 So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days.

John 11:18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away.

John 11:19 And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

John 11:24 Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day."

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

John 11:26 "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

John 11:27 She said to Him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world."

John 11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."

John 11:33 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.

John 11:35 Jesus wept.

John 11:36 Then the Jews said, "See how He loved him!"

John 11:37 And some of them said, "Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?"

John 11:38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.

John 11:43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!"

John 11:44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."

John 11:45 Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him.

John 11:46 But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things Jesus did.

John 11:47 Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, "What shall we do? For this Man works many signs.

John 11:48 "If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation."

John 11:53 Then, from that day on, they plotted to put Him to death.

John 11:54 Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the

wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples.

John 11:55 And the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went from the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.

John 11:56 Then they sought Jesus, and spoke among themselves as they stood in the temple, "What do you think; that He will not come to the feast?"
