Bible Knowledge Questions:

Question: How do we receive a true understanding of the knowledge contained in the Holy Bible?

The primary reasons are as called out saints of God, having  repented of our sins, accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, having been baptized and received the indwelling Holy Spirit through the Laying on of Hands, knowledge is imparted or revealed to us through the Holy Spirit. If we are willingly obedient to the teachings of God the Father and Christ the Son, our knowledge will be increased when we seek a deeper understanding through prayer and study of the Holy Bible scriptures.   

Acts 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

 

Acts 2:39  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, evenas many as the Lord our God shall call.

 

Romans 1:5  By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: 

 

Romans 1:6  Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

 

Romans 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 

 

Romans 8:10  And if Christ bein you, the body isdead because of sin; but the Spirit islife because of righteousness.

 

Romans 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.

 

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

 

Romans 8:16  The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 

 

Romans 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him,that we may be also glorified together.

 

No matter what your needs are, you can find knowledge that will help you deal with whatever you are going through, in the pages of the Holy Bible. God will take care of you if you are an obedient member of the God family.

Matthew 7:7  Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

 

Matthew 7:8  For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

 

Question: Can you find comfort in the pages of your Bible if you are diligently seeking the true teachings of God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son?

Answer: Yes

2 Corinthians 1:3Blessed beGod, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

 

2 Corinthians 1:4  Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

 

2 Corinthians 1:5  For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ.

 

2 Corinthians 1:6  And whether we be afflicted, it isfor your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it isfor your consolation and salvation.

 

While Genesis is the first Book of the Holy Bible and contains page one (1) of the instructional manual.

Question: Where and what is the beginning of Knowledge?

Proverbs 1:7  The fear of the LORD isthe beginning of knowledge: butfools despise wisdom and instruction.

 

Question: Is there a penalty or price you will have to pay if you do not fear the Lord or you hate the Knowledge He has left for us in the scriptures of the Holy Bible?

 

Answer: Yes

 

Proverbs 1:22  How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

 

Proverbs 1:23  Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

 

Proverbs 1:24  Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

 

Proverbs 1:25  But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

 

Proverbs 1:26  I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

 

Proverbs 1:27  When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 

 

Proverbs 1:28  Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

 

Proverbs 1:29  For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

 

Proverbs 1:30  They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

 

Proverbs 1:31  Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

 

Proverbs 1:32  For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

 

Question: Is there a reward for those that are called by God when they fear the Lord and delight in the love of the Knowledge He has left for us in the scriptures of the Holy Bible?

Answer: Yes

Proverbs 1:33  But whoso hearkens unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. 

 

Proverbs 2:1  My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

 

Proverbs 2:2  So that thou incline thy ear unto wisdom, andapply thy heart to understanding;

 

Proverbs 2:3  Yea, if thou cries after knowledge, andlifts up thy voice for understanding;

 

Proverbs 2:4  If thou seeks her as silver, and searches for her as forhid treasures;

 

Proverbs 2:5  Then shall thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

 

Proverbs 2:6  For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comethknowledge and understanding.

 

Proverbs 2:7  He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous: he isa buckler to them that walk uprightly.

 

Proverbs 2:8  He keeps the paths of judgment, and preserves the way of his saints.

 

Proverbs 2:9  Then shall thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea,every good path.

 

Proverbs 2:10  When wisdom enters into thy heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

 

Proverbs 2:11  Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

Proverbs 24:13  My son, eat thou honey, because it isgood; and the honeycomb, which issweet to thy taste:

 

Proverbs 24:14  So shallthe knowledge of wisdom beunto thy soul: when thou hast found it,then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
